Luna Cinema - Warwick Castle

On Thursday night, 4 of us drove over to Warwick Castle to Watch Star Wars - The Force Awakens outside on a big screen with The Luna Cinema. The grounds to Warwick Castle are absolutely stunning and just being there, on a summer night with all the lights on was pretty amazing.

The event was sponsored by Doubletree by Hilton and on arrival we were given a free cookie and bottle of Lucozade, everyone loves free stuff! We took our own chairs and managed to get a decent spot close enough to the screen and enough space for the four of us. There was a burger van, pizza and ice cream van to go and buy food from. We all had a burger meal, which was delicious and settled down to watch the film. Before it started there was several games/competitions, one of them being the chance to watch the film from a double bed complete with a stacked mini bar!

The film was really good, we could all see and hear it perfectly and it was such a unique experience being outside watching a film. We took our own snacks and drinks but there was a bar open throughout the movie if you wished to purchase anything. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone, its different, unique and we all had a great night.

Star Wars was our choice but there is lots of different films and venues available so check it out:

Book Club - My Review - See Me - Nicholas Sparks

This weeks book - See Me
Author - Nicholas Sparks
My Score out of 10 - 8/10
Blurb - At twenty-eight, he's focused on getting his teaching degree and avoiding all the places and people that proved so destructive in his past. The last thing he's looking for is a serious relationship. But when he crosses paths with Maria Sanchez one rainswept night, his carefully structured life is turned upside down. And when Maria, a hardworking lawyer, meets Colin she begins to question every notion she has ever had about herself and her future - and what truly makes her happy.
Before the couple has a chance to envision a life together, menacing reminders from events in Maria's past begin to surface. And as the threat of violence begins to shadow her every step, she and Colin will be pushed to breaking point.

I am a massive fan of Nicholas Sparks and last year I read every single book ever wrote by him, including his Autobiography. So this book was obviously going to be on my list of 'must reads' and last week I finally got around to it. It was so worth being excited about, as usual Nicholas Sparks has wrote a gripping story that meant I didn't want to put the book down until it was finished! I especially liked this book because although it was a usual boy meets girl lovely story, there was also mystery and suspense which kept me hooked. I have read a lot of Nicholas Sparks books where one of the main character dies, so was on edge throughout the book wondering if someone might be killed! I definitely recommend this book especially if you like something with a bit of suspense and crime.

A lack of motivation

Hi everybody, I know I haven't wrote a post for a long time and I have to apologize not only to you but to myself, when I started this blog I wanted to make sure I kept it up to date, that I wrote on here at least once a week, just to give me somewhere to be able to write down my feelings and thoughts so that they are not trapped in my own head. The last few weeks my mind has been in a weird place, whether its hormonal or just over thinking things I don't know but I have seriously lacked motivation.
I have thought about writing on here several times and even opened the page up but just haven't been able to start typing, today I finally got the motivation, so I am sorry I am rambling on a bit and writing about something you probably don't even care about but I wanted to let you know I am back and I am going to try keep up with writing weekly again.

I have been thinking about time a lot lately and I think that's one of the reasons I have felt a bit down the last few weeks. Its now September, SEPTEMBER! How?! This year has absolutely flew and when I think about what I have done this year it doesn't feel like a lot. I got caught up in thinking about time passing me by without achieving much. The problem is I have been thinking about it all wrong, instead of dwelling on the fact that time is going so quick, I need to make the most out of the time. So this week I have been doing just that, even if its going for a walk on the evening instead of just sitting watching TV all night, it seems to really help. So for the rest of the year that's my plan, I am going to plan trips, organise things to do with friends and maybe even start a project so at the end of the year, I can say I did this, this and this and feel good about it!

Have any of you ever felt this way about time and if so how did you overcome it?

I am glad to be back, and will be back to writing my book review this week, so look out for that! x
